Paul grew up in Seattle, Washington and moved to Greenville in 2020. He earned his B.A in History from the University of Portland and an M.A in Biblical Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also trained in addiction counseling through The Addiction Connection.

Before starting to counsel, Paul spent five years playing professional soccer as a goalkeeper with Atlanta United FC and Greenville Triumph SC. Along with his work at Mountain View, Paul serves in a counseling and discipleship role with his local church.

Paul and his wife have been married since 2022, and his free time, he enjoys walks with his wife, working out, BBQing, reading and being outside.
